Overview
An IBR-approved high pressure reducing valve with screwed ends, engineered to manage and stabilize high inlet pressures up to 40 kg/cm² while delivering precise downstream pressure control. The globe-type body with soft elastomer seat provides bubble-tight regulation for water, gas, and air service, with an adjustable outlet range of 20 to 35 kg/cm². Robust CF8/CF8M construction ensures durability and consistent performance in demanding high-pressure systems. Supplied, sized and serviced for process plants across Nepal.
Features & Benefits
- Designed specifically for high inlet pressure up to 40 kg/cm², this valve fills the gap above the medium and low pressure PRVs in the range, so it is the right pick when supply pressure exceeds what a standard PRV can safely regulate.
- Soft elastomer seat (NBR/EPDM/VITON) delivers tighter bubble-tight shutoff than a metal seat on clean water, gas, and air, which is why this variant uses soft seating rather than the metal seat used on the steam-rated PRVs.
- Three seat material options let you match chemical compatibility to the media — NBR for general water and air, EPDM for hot water, VITON for hydrocarbons and aggressive gases.
- Narrow adjusting range of 20 to 35 kg/cm² is deliberately tuned for high-pressure regulation rather than spanning a wide band, giving finer resolution and more stable control within that high band.
- The 180°C temperature ceiling reflects the elastomer seat limit, so this valve is correctly positioned for high-pressure cold and warm fluids rather than steam — an important selection distinction from the metal-seated PRV.
- Screwed ends and full CF8/CF8M stainless construction give corrosion resistance and easy installation in compact high-pressure lines up to 100MM without flange hardware.
