Overview
A high-performance pneumatically actuated control valve engineered for precise and responsive flow modulation in process systems. Features a single-seated, top-guided globe-style body paired with a robust diaphragm actuator for accurate pressure, flow, or temperature control across steam, gas, and liquid applications. An optional positioner improves control accuracy for demanding process conditions. Designed for long service life with minimal maintenance in industrial environments. Supplied, sized and serviced for process plants across Nepal.
Features & Benefits
- Top and bottom guided plug eliminates lateral plug movement under high differential pressure, which is the primary cause of seat wear and control instability in single-guided globe valves operating at high flow velocities.
- Diaphragm actuator with optional positioner allows the valve to accept a 4-20mA or pneumatic control signal and hold position accurately, enabling closed-loop process control without hunting or offset.
- Single-seated globe body achieves tight shutoff that multi-seated designs cannot match, which matters in boiler control and steam modulation where even small leakage past the seat causes energy loss and process deviation.
- Pneumatic actuation gives fast stroke response to control signal changes, keeping the process variable close to setpoint during load disturbances — critical in heat exchanger and steam header pressure control.
- Coverage from 25mm to 300mm in a single product family means the Robotrol can be used consistently from small instrument lines through large main process headers, reducing the number of valve types and spare parts maintained on site.
- Rugged globe-style construction handles the mechanical and thermal cycling of steam and condensate service far better than butterfly or ball valve alternatives, which are prone to seal degradation under repeated thermal shock.
