Overview
A pressure vessel protection safety relief valve engineered to automatically prevent dangerous overpressure conditions across a wide pressure and temperature envelope. The SVE-520 opens at a predetermined set pressure to discharge excess fluid safely to atmosphere or a designated discharge system, protecting equipment, personnel, and facilities in demanding industrial service. Supplied, set and serviced for process plants across Nepal.
Features & Benefits
- A certified discharge coefficient of 0.975 is near the theoretical maximum, meaning the valve relieves at close to full rated capacity and does not need to be oversized to compensate for flow losses.
- Wide set pressure range of 0.5 to 75 bar covers low-pressure steam systems through high-pressure process vessels in a single product family, reducing the number of valve models to stock.
- Temperature envelope of -40°C to +500°C makes this suitable for cryogenic service at the low end and superheated steam or thermal oil at the high end.
- Both flanged and screwed connections allow the same valve to drop into existing piping without modification, simplifying procurement.
- Compliance with ASME VIII, API 520, and EN ISO 4126 means the valve meets the three dominant global pressure vessel codes simultaneously, reducing certification overhead for export projects.
