Overview

An investment-cast three-piece floating ball valve with screwed ends, engineered for multiple on/off operations in downstream service across air, water, oil, and gas. The three-piece body allows the center section to be removed for in-line servicing without disturbing the connected pipework. Carries an extensive certification stack including CE, SIL3, IBR, Fire Safe (API 607), and POD, with a wide range of body, ball, stem, and seat material options for cryogenic through high-temperature duty. Supplied, sized and serviced for process plants across Nepal.

Features & Benefits

  • The three-piece design is the core advantage — the two end caps stay welded or threaded into the pipeline while the center body lifts out for seat and ball replacement, so the valve is serviced in place without breaking the connected pipework, unlike a one or two-piece valve.
  • Fire Safe certification to API 607 means that if the soft seats burn out in a fire, a secondary metal-to-metal seat still provides shutoff — a mandatory feature for oil, gas, and hydrocarbon service.
  • SIL3 approval qualifies this valve for use in safety instrumented systems where a quantified, high-reliability failure rate is required, which opens up critical shutdown applications most ball valves cannot serve.
  • Antistatic design bleeds off static charge that builds up on the ball during cycling, preventing a spark hazard in flammable gas and hydrocarbon service.
  • Blowout-proof stem is retained from inside the body so internal pressure cannot eject the stem if the gland is removed under pressure — an important safety feature for the wide pressure and media range.
  • The exceptionally broad material matrix (Duplex, Monel, Hast Alloy, plus AIRA-250 and PEEK seats) lets a single valve platform be specified for seawater, sour gas, cryogenic, and high-temperature duty, which is rare breadth in one product line.
  • V-type chevron gland packing maintains zero stem leakage over thousands of cycles, addressing the stem seal as the most common long-term leak path in ball valves.
  • ISO 5211 direct mounting pad allows pneumatic or electric actuators to bolt straight onto the valve without a separate bracket, simplifying automation.
