Overview
An investment-cast single-piece floating ball valve with screwed ends, available in both automated and manual versions, engineered for multiple on/off operations in downstream service across air, water, oil, and gas. The single-piece body has only one body joint, minimizing potential leak paths compared to multi-piece designs, while remaining serviceable for maintenance. Offered in a broad material matrix from cast iron through Duplex and Monel with an ISO 5211 direct mounting pad for actuation. Supplied, sized and serviced for process and utility plants across Nepal.
Features & Benefits
- A single body joint means there is only one potential leak path on the entire valve, which is a meaningful reliability advantage over two-piece and three-piece designs that have multiple body seams.
- Low operating torque reduces actuator sizing requirements when automated, allowing a smaller and cheaper actuator to be specified compared to valves with higher seat friction.
- Despite the single-piece body, the valve remains serviceable for maintenance, avoiding the common misconception that single-piece ball valves must be replaced rather than repaired.
- ISO 5211 direct mounting pad allows pneumatic or electric actuators to bolt straight on without an adapter bracket, simplifying automation for plants standardizing on this valve type.
- Available in both manual and pneumatically actuated versions from the same body design, so the same valve platform serves manual isolation points and automated process control loops.
- Broad material matrix spanning cast iron through Duplex and Monel lets this compact, economical body style be specified for ordinary utility air and water as well as moderately corrosive service without changing the valve family.
