Overview
An investment-cast, trunnion-mounted multi-port ball valve with a screwed end connection, engineered for diverting and mixing operations in downstream service. Available in T-port, L-port, and X-port configurations across full bore or reduced bore, and operable manually or via pneumatic rotary actuator. CE and Fire Safe certified for demanding flow-direction-switching applications across air, water, oil, and gas. Supplied, sized and serviced for process plants across Nepal.
Features & Benefits
- Multi-port design with T, L, and X port options replaces two or three separate two-way valves and the connecting pipework needed to divert or mix flow, reducing both installed cost and the number of potential leak points in a manifold.
- Trunnion-mounted ball support, rather than a simple floating ball, takes the pressure load off the seats and onto thrust bearings, which gives more consistent operating torque and longer seat life at higher pressures than a floating ball design.
- Full bore and reduced bore options let the same product line be specified for either unrestricted flow capacity or a more compact, economical valve where pressure drop is less critical.
- Fire Safe certification ensures the valve maintains a degree of shutoff even if the primary soft seat is destroyed in a fire, which is essential where this valve handles flammable oil or gas streams.
- Antistatic stem-to-ball-to-body bonding bleeds off static charge during operation, preventing spark ignition risk in hydrocarbon and gas diverting service.
- Blowout-proof stem design and ISO 5211 actuator mounting let the valve be safely automated for remote or frequent-cycle diverting duty without risking stem ejection under pressure.
- Wide material range including Duplex, Hast Alloy, and Monel allows this multi-port body to be specified for corrosive or sour service diverting applications, not just standard utility media.
