Overview
A complete factory-assembled pressure reducing station engineered for controlling pressure in natural gas, nitrogen, hydrogen, LPG, and air systems. Each unit is custom-sized to customer inlet pressure, outlet pressure, and flow requirements. Safety shut-off valves with overpressure and underpressure settings, diaphragm-operated relief valves, and flame arresters can be incorporated as required by the application. Supplied, sized and serviced for gas systems across Nepal.
Features & Benefits
- Inlet pressure range of 10 to 200 Kg/cm² covers everything from medium-pressure distribution mains to high-pressure cylinder or pipeline supply, making this suitable across upstream and downstream gas applications.
- Minimum outlet pressure down to 50mm WC allows the station to serve very low-pressure burner and combustion equipment that standard PRVs cannot regulate to reliably.
- Optional flame arrester integration is critical for hydrogen and LPG service where an ignition source at the vent or relief discharge could cause a catastrophic event.
- Stainless steel material option handles corrosive gas streams such as wet natural gas or process gases with H₂S content that would attack carbon or alloy steel internals.
- Custom sizing per customer process parameters means the station is not over-pressured or undersized for the actual demand curve, avoiding the instability and chatter that comes from a badly matched PRV.
- Combined overpressure and underpressure safety shut-off valve protects both the downstream system from excess pressure and upstream equipment from supply pressure collapse.
