Overview

A complete factory-assembled pressure reducing station sized and selected to customer-specified flow rate, pressure, and temperature requirements for steam service. Uses the self-regulating PRV-1001 for low-pressure duty and the Robotrol-operated control valve Model RB-70142 for high-pressure duty with turndown ratios up to 40:1. Supplied as a ready-to-install unit covering Class 150 through 600 pressure ratings. Supplied, sized and serviced for steam systems across Nepal.

Features & Benefits

  • Factory-assembled and sized to customer process parameters means the station arrives pipe-ready, eliminating site engineering time spent on valve selection, sizing, and assembly.
  • Dual PRV model selection — PRV-1001 for low-pressure duty and Robotrol RB-70142 for high-pressure — means the station is correctly specified for the actual operating condition rather than over-engineered as a one-size-fits-all solution.
  • A 40:1 turndown ratio with the Robotrol actuated valve handles wide swings in steam demand without hunting or instability, which is critical in batch processes where steam consumption varies significantly.
  • Coverage from Class 150 to 600 and BS 10 Table H accommodates the majority of industrial steam distribution pressure classes in a single product family.
  • Self-regulating PRV design on low-pressure duty eliminates the need for external control signals or instrumentation, reducing complexity and maintenance points in simpler steam systems.
