Overview
A compact, electrically actuated 2/2 way direct acting solenoid valve for general-purpose on/off flow control across air, gas, oil, water, and chemical media. Suitable for flammable media when paired with an available flame proof, explosion proof solenoid coil. Operates up to 20 bar with a wide -5°C to 85°C temperature range, in CF8 stainless or brass body construction. Supplied, sized and serviced across Nepal.
Features & Benefits
- 20 bar pressure rating is notably high for a small-bore direct acting solenoid valve, giving it a real advantage over diaphragm-type valves in this size range for compressed air, hydraulic, and high-pressure gas switching applications.
- Optional flame proof, explosion proof coil makes this valve suitable for flammable media and hazardous area installation, which is a deliberate differentiator rather than just a footnote feature.
- Direct acting mechanism with no pilot stage gives near-instant actuation on coil energisation, important for fast safety shutoff or quick-cycling automated sequences.
- Dual body material option (CF8 stainless or brass) lets the same valve design be specified economically in brass for general water and air service, or upgraded to CF8 stainless for chemical and corrosive media.
- NBR and Viton seat options cover both general-purpose and more aggressive chemical or hydrocarbon media without changing the valve body.
- Compact 1/4 to 1/2 inch sizing targets instrument-scale and small process line switching where space is at a premium, distinct from the larger 1/2 to 4 inch solenoid valve families in the range.
- -5°C low-temperature capability extends usability into refrigeration and cold ambient installations that many standard solenoid valves are not rated for.
