Overview
A compact, electrically controlled 2/2 way pilot diaphragm solenoid valve where a small pilot solenoid actuates a larger main diaphragm valve, opening or closing the flow path. Designed for normally closed operation with a screwed BSP connection, suited to air, gas, water, steam, and hot water service requiring quick and reliable switching. Supplied, sized and serviced across Nepal.
Features & Benefits
- Pilot-operated design uses a small, low-power pilot solenoid to actuate the main diaphragm rather than driving the full valve directly, which lets a compact, low-current coil control a larger flow path than a direct-acting solenoid of the same coil size could manage.
- F Class coil insulation gives a higher thermal tolerance rating than standard B or E class coils, which extends coil life when the valve is cycled frequently or operates near its 85°C media temperature limit.
- Diaphragm sealing rather than a metal poppet provides quieter, lower-shock operation on each cycle, reducing water hammer risk in water and steam lines that see frequent switching.
- Multi-voltage coil availability (12V through 230V, AC or DC) lets the same valve body be specified into different plant electrical standards without changing the mechanical valve.
- NBR diaphragm material is well suited to general water, air, and hot water service, though it is the temperature-limiting component — note this is rated lower (85°C) than the firm's piston-type steam solenoid valves, so it is not a steam-trace or high-temperature steam product despite the media list including steam.
- Space-saving compact body simplifies installation in instrument panels and tight skid-mounted equipment where larger pilot-operated valves would not fit.
