Overview

A direct acting 2/2 way solenoid valve designed for steam and hot water applications up to 9 bar pressure, configured normally closed and energised to open. The solenoid acts directly on the valve element without an intermediate pilot stage, giving fast, responsive switching. Rated up to 150°C for steam and 95°C for hot water in a compact, screwed-end body. Supplied, sized and serviced across Nepal.

  • Direct acting mechanism eliminates the pilot stage entirely, so the valve responds the instant the coil is energised rather than waiting for a pilot signal to build differential pressure across a diaphragm or piston, which matters where fast, deterministic shutoff timing is required.
  • 150°C steam rating with 95°C for hot water is a genuine functional split — this valve handles real steam service at a meaningfully higher temperature than an 85°C pilot diaphragm model, making it the correct choice when steam (not just hot water) is the actual media.

  • 9 bar working pressure covers most low and medium pressure steam distribution and hot water heating circuits without requiring a piston-operated high-pressure solenoid valve.
  • CF8/CF8M stainless body resists the scaling and corrosion typical of steam condensate service, giving longer service life than a brass or cast iron body in the same duty.
