FSPVS Forged Steel Piston Valve

Overview

A forged steel piston-type isolation valve with bolted bonnet and rising stem design, rated to Class-800 for high-pressure service. Built to ASTM A105 forged steel body with NPT screwed end connection. Uses an AISI-420 stainless steel piston and graphite seal for reliable shutoff in demanding high-pressure applications. Supplied, sized and serviced for process plants across Nepal.

• ✓Forged steel body to ASTM A105 gives significantly higher mechanical strength and freedom from casting defects compared to the cast steel CSPVF variant, which is exactly why this valve is rated to Class-800 versus the Class-150 cast version.
• ✓Screwed NPT end connection suits compact, high-pressure instrument and small-bore process lines where flanged connections would be impractical or unnecessarily bulky at this pressure class.
• ✓Graphite seal provides consistent sealing performance under the high temperature and pressure cycling typical of Class-800 duty, without the degradation risk of elastomer seals.
• ✓Body and seat hydrostatic test pressures of 207 and 152 Barg respectively are substantially above typical Class-800 working pressure, giving documented margin appropriate for high-pressure isolation service.
• ✓A-193 Gr-B7 studs and A-194 Gr-2H nuts are the standard high-temperature, high-strength fastener grades used in pressure-retaining bonnet joints, matched correctly here to the valve's pressure class.
• ✓Compact size range (15mm to 25mm based on the dimension table) targets small-bore high-pressure instrument and control lines, distinct from the larger-bore, lower-pressure CSPVF flanged variant.
