Overview
A manually operated piston valve designed to regulate fluid flow under high-pressure, high-temperature conditions up to 40 Kg/cm² and 400°C. Forged steel construction with a piston sealing mechanism delivers precise control and Class VI tight shutoff in demanding service. Suited to steam, thermic fluids, acids, gas, vacuum, and other critical applications in oil, gas, and power generation industries. Supplied, sized and serviced for process plants across Nepal.
Features & Benefits
- Piston-and-ring sealing mechanism provides Class VI bubble-tight shutoff that resists the thermal cycling and seat erosion that degrade conventional globe valve seats in steam and thermic fluid service.
- Forged steel body offers superior strength and freedom from casting porosity compared to cast bodies, which is the right choice for combined high pressure and high temperature containment.
- Four end-connection options — screwed, butt weld, socket weld, and flanged 150/300# — let the same valve integrate into welded high-pressure piping or flanged systems without changing product line.
- Broad media compatibility including acids and vacuum service means the valve covers aggressive and unusual process conditions that would require specialized valves from other product families.
- Self-wiping piston action clears scale and particulate from the sealing zone on each closure, which keeps shutoff reliable in dirty thermic fluid and condensate-laden steam systems.
- IBR approval is a meaningful certification for steam service, as it is legally required for boiler-connected piping and reassures buyers in regulated power and process plants.
